Our multidisciplinary team, including Consultant Intensivists, Respiratory Therapists, Critical Care Nurses, and Consultants from other medical specialities, collaborate to provide compassionate and supportive care in a state-of-the-art environment.

The department comprises casualty/daycare, which is a receiving area for all emergency patients. The patient is assessed immediately and categorised based on the priority of medical care needed. Life-threatening cases are urgently attended to by the Code Blue Team and on the spot treatment is started by this specialised team. The patient gets shifted to the Intensive Care Unit for further treatment. Similarly, urgent cases are assessed and treated appropriately. Stable cases may be advised to undergo observation, or get admitted after some investigations, or may be discharged with advice for outpatient diagnostics.

Cardiac ICU: All heart-related emergencies are admitted and managed here. These include emergencies like heart attacks, heart failure, Arrhythmias, post-Angioplasty, and post-Pacemaker Implantation.

Cardiac Surgical ICU: All the heart surgery patients are admitted here immediately after surgeries like Coronary Artery Bypass, Valve Replacement, Valve Repair, ASD Closure, VSD Closure, Heart Transplant, and more.

Medical ICU: All other emergency cases are admitted here. These include cases like Stroke, Lung problems, Fever (Malaria, Dengue, Typhoid, etc.), Diabetes patients and Kidney patients.

Other Emergencies: Emergencies like chest pain, breathing difficulty, loss of consciousness, sudden Paralysis, Seizure or Stroke symptoms, acute abdominal pain, bleeding, fever, poisoning, drug overdose, intoxication, initial treatments for accidents that require immediate medical intervention are also treated by us.
